P.S.  Had a nice dinner with TE and his family last night at Modrian in Los Angeles.  There was some InStyle Magazine party going on there...so it was quite a scene.  Good people watching!

Cute living room. This one is in an old train depot converted into an apartment in Hamburg, Germany. Nice sleek open floor plan where you can see through from the living room to the dining room right into the kitchen.

A chrome arched Arco floor lamp looms over a modern living space.  Camel colored most likely vintage leather and chrome chairs and a pink Ligne Roset sofa.  Love the pale aqua painted backsplash in the kitchen in the distance.

Note to self: must find train station to convert into a cute modern living space.  Design on track! :-)

THIS OR THAT: SPOT ON CHAIR VIGNETTES!

Same animal print spotted wallpaper two very different chairs and looks.  Which do you prefer.

One chair vignette is a bright turquoise blue faux bamboo fretwork chair loaded up with fab fashion books and a stack of magazines in the home of interior designer Tiffany Richey.

The other scene is in interior designer Meredith Heron's design office and features a black leather Louis XVI side chair, black bookshelf complete with a carved stone bust.

Does one of these vignettes appeal to you more?  Which might you prefer in your home?

Oh...by the way...I am LOVING this Thibaut wallpaper.  So wonderful.  Am totally not an animal print or animal spots girl...but I LOVE this wallpaper.  Can you tell I am obsessing over wallpaper lately?  Might have to branch into that next for COCOCOZY!

Let me know in the comments below...which chair picture is perfect for you? I would love to hear your thoughts. I'm leaning towards the bright turquoise chair against the spotted wall but am not sure.

P.S.  UH OH - After 3.5 months out of my house due to construction for water damage...I was supposed to move back in this weekend!  Woohooo!  Right?  Wrong.  We of course had a little snafu.  A big snafu really!  The wood floor stain on the brand new wood floors is not at all right. I wanted a light gray floor but instead I got a weird putty color with yellowing varnish showing.  Needless to say...I wasn't happy...so today...the floor guy is back at the house...re-sanding the floors and will try at it again.  Here's a look at the floors in my bedroom that now need to be redone AGAIN.  Oy vey.  Look, I recognize, there could be a lot worse things that happen to me so I am taking this all in stride.  We are doing several samples.  Last time the guy only showed me sample with one coat of varnish...he put 3 coats on and I think a lot of the yellow from the white oak came through.  My neighbor JH came over yesterday during our "floor meeting" with the contractor and the floor guy...she is an expert in decorative finishes...so that helped.  We'll see!  They said it would take 4 or 5 days extra.  Keeping fingers crossed!

P.P.S. To leave on a positive note...had a great conference call with JP, AR and AR today discussing the marketing and p.r. for my partnership with them...they are the people we made the 500 pillows for...a major fashion brand that we are collaborating with this summer.  It all is very exciting.  Will tell you more soon.  They are really nice and we had a fun conversation.

LOFT LIVING: INDUSTRIAL RUSTIC CHIC!

I like this Hollywood loft owned by art director Daniel Lowe. Masculine, industrial, rustic chic I think. So cute for a guy's place...or a girl's. Open concept, living room, dining room and kitchen combo. Good light and some exposed brick. Who could ask for more?

Love the geometric trellis fretwork gray wallpaper on the fireplace in the living room, adore the nautical pendant lights over the kitchen island, and there is something very stylish about a tufted leather couch. Lots of detail coming together to make a nice space.

P.S. Had a fun weekend with TE. We went to a Saturday night movie, dinner at Silverlake Mexican restaurant Malo, walked on Runyon Canyon on Sunday and then somehow ended up at sports place watching the San Francisco 49ers game. Best part of it all was when TE came over for the movie, he had gifts in hand. I was immediately convinced and assumed they were all presents/gifts for me...I was wrong. He did bring "hostess treats" of sorts to my tiny cottage in the Hollywood Hills - a bottle of Veuve Clicquot for me and something for my cute mischievous dog Mr. Boo, some organic dog treats. A very cute holiday offering I think. Mr. Boo, the dog, seems to like TE more than he likes me these days.  Hmm...I will have to bring some organic treats home tonight and see if that helps sway the pooch my way!

FASHION FORWARD: VALENTINO FALL!

Love all things Valentino this fall.  Leather, long bloused sleeves, intricate detail, sparkle and more. All done so elegantly.  A lot of what Valentino does on the fashion runway can translate to home decor and design...a wonderful blend of simple silhouettes and painstaking detail can make an outfit or a room!

I would love to add a bit of Valentino to my fall wardrobe.  Wouldn't you?  No costume for me on Halloween...I'll just dream of dressing in Valentino!

P.S.  Yesterday was at a shoot all day until about midnight for my real job.  You know a television shoot...directors, actors, big wigs running hither and thither.  A long day but we got a lot of good stuff. Speaking of fashion...I was wearing some cute sparkling Prada flats, some dark green ombre Rag & Bone jeans and a cute shimmery silver long  sleeve top (very cute, hard to describe...I pinned the top and the jeans on COCOCOZY Pinterest so you can see it).  About half way through the day, I was touching my neckline and I realized I had been wearing my shirt backwards for half of the day!  Hmmm...  Well there you have it.  Another COCOCOZY comedy moment brought to you by Coco!
