I love this patio from designer Mark D. Sikes. A charming Hollywood Hills brick lined outdoor space. A wonderful garden...the perfect backyard. It works. The iron outdoor furniture with light cushions and gingham decorative pillows, the blue and white garden stools and accents, the manicured boxwood topiaries and all of the brick laid in a herringbone pattern.
Lovely outdoor living.
Brick stairs run through the tiered garden and lead to double carved garden doors! (above) |
Arched French doors leading inside are propped open with a porcelain Chinese garden stool in blue and white. (above) |
Happy Friday!

P.S. Sorry I didn't post yesterday. Was running around like a chicken with no head as usual. Had lunch at my favorite restaurant on the upper east side called Le Bilbouquet with best of friend AM, met a mayor of major NJ city, window shopped in Soho and had dinner on the water. It was a full and wonderful day.
P.P.S. Supposed to go to lunch with good friend A.Ro. today. Need to call her!
P.P.P.S. I must say a huge thank you to CM and LH back at COCOCOZY HQ who did so much wonderful work to make sure everything at the COCOCOZY booth at the New York International Gift Fair was perfect. CM has been holding down the fort too while I've been gone. Doing an amazing job as usual. Thank you. Thank you.
P.P.P.P.S. Must also say thank you to MK and EP who did such an awesome job helping me out in the booth during the trade show and who are just all around nice people. Will miss you guys!
P.P.P.P.P.S. Have been staying with best of friend AM and her hubby JE and their cute kiddies while here in NYC...it has been so much fun...they are like family. One night I got home late after going to dinner with A.Ro. and I was sitting on AM and JE's bed telling them about the day...before I knew it I had passed out on their bed with them in it and I woke up at 4am! Good friends! Right?
P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Hope you have a great weekend!
