So if you are into architecture, you've heard of 100 11th Avenue in New York.  The high rise residential building was completed a few years ago.  It was designed by famed French architect Jean Nouvel.  The building design includes a veil of over 1600 window panes and from the outside makes an amazing design statement in the sea of buildings in NYC.  I haven't seen it in person but I think I'll pop over to The High Line next time I'm in the city, where apparently you can get incredible views of the building. I'll take a long gawk and gander and will definitely report back.

Well from the inside, apparently this building is pretty incredible too.  A modern masterpiece of sorts. With lots of windows and light and views to write home about. Recently apartment 23a...the penthouse...was up for sale and now according to the realtor's website the unit is "under contract".

The asking price for the penthouse is $22 million dollars for 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths in 4675 square feet of interior space plus a 4100 square foot deck that wraps around the apartment! Whoa.

This multi million dollar NYC flat is listed by Douglas Elliman.

Here's how their website describes the home:

"This spectacular penthouse will take your breath away. With 360 degree views of Manhattan and the Hudson River down to the Statue of Liberty, this is the jewel in the crown that is Jean Nouvel's iconic masterpiece. Unmatched in high concept and layout this home features 14ft ceilings, two fireplaces, floor to ceiling wrap-around windows, an enclosed loggia terrace, and a jaw dropping 4400 square foot terrace. This full floor penthouse is exquisite in every detail. With unparalleled design this 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home has sleek terrazzo floors and a one of a kind layout designed for entertaining!"

Here's a look at what $22 million looks like in New York!

What do you think of this multi million dollar listing? Love, like or dislike? Would you take it or leave it? How might you tweak with the decor?

I would take it. Would need to change ALL of the decor and warm it up a bit (the white Terrazzo floors make it a little cold)...but I'd make it work.

Happy Monday (again)!

P.S. Thanks to Brenna over at Refinery 29 for posting a list of my favorite things - all home furnishings and accessories in shades of blue. Check out my picks.  They were inspired by my sister's trip to Morocco that I wrote about a few weeks ago! (Thanks to good friend YO for sending over the link this morning when the list came out!)

P.P.S. Running late to work.  Had a few conference calls this morning to discuss some COCOCOZY business...they went well!

P.P.P.S.  Now that I am a million pounds heavier after wining and dining in Atlanta for 4 days...I have no clue what I will wear to the office.  Help.  I wonder if work people will notice the extra bloat and poundage? Must figure out a way to mask...black...middle of summer but I will wear black.  Is it inappropriate to wear a Jil Sander black sun dress to work...it has a very full skirt?  Hmmm...I'm going to do it and toss a sweater over my shoulders.  Note to self...do not eat carrot cake and drink margaritas on next jaunt out of Los Angeles.

P.P.P.P.S.  Hate to end a post on that note about being a million pounds heavier so I'll end it with I think I'm getting a cavity.  Feel tooth ache.  Is that possible?  Yikes...

P.P.P.P.P.S.  Okay...take 3.  Not a good way to end either...talking about cavities and all. Let's see uhm...have a nice day?. :-) LOL!
